The following excerpt from our Deal Memorandum has been prepared by Steve Weiss, former VP of Legal and Business Affairs at Sony Online Entertainment. Steve spent eleven years leading in the negotiation and structuring of post-prototype game funding and IP buyouts for Sony Online Entertainment:

In addition, because of the time, energy and resources already devoted to brand development and promotion through film, online and other media, Socent can position The Deadliest War: A World Game For Peace as a game property and standalone brand/IP and Socent as a studio are potentially much more attractive to larger media and technology companies that own or license games, distribution channels and platforms such as Warner Bros, Disney, Sony and now Amazon. While some of these companies prefer and are aggressively funding originally created IP and game development deals based on licensing of their own IP, Socent has created an opportunity for A World Game For Peace as a property that transcends gaming and is therefore a more attractive target for a large media company with a better opportunity for a significant liquidity event for a VC investor in Socent than compared to a game developer just creating a new game."
